Volunteers are central to the life and ministry of Sheldon

Workparty volunteering

Hospitality volunteering
- Practical domestic care for guests in residence
- Supporting the Sheldon Housekeeping team
- Applicants carefully selected, references taken up
- Residential for a programme event week

Reception volunteering
- Regular commitment (one or two half days per week)
- Supporting the Sheldon Administration team
- Friendly assistance to callers to the Sheldon Reception
- Helping with clerical duties
- Applicants selected by interview and trained

Garden volunteering
- Helping care for some of Sheldon's borders and shrubberies
- Regular commitment from a half day per week
- Reasonable knowledge of gardening needed
Theatre volunteering
- Stewarding and other roles on theatre concert nights in July
- Minimum commitment 3 nights ~ 6pm - 11pm
- Help us care for hundreds of people enjoying a night out
