| Jan moved to Sheldon in 1996 having previously worked in Leeds, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands. Her primary role at Sheldon is Deputy Housekeeper. |
| Jan is the creator of many of the wonderful meals that are cooked at Sheldon, and works with many loyal volunteers. She runs a tight ship in the kitchen and expects high standards all round. |
| In recent years Jan has trained as a masseur and now regularly offers full body massage to stressed guests. She has strong hands and a prayerful approach, and now has her own massage room next to the jacuzzi. |
| Jan's private passions are colourful clothes, penguins and craft activities. |
