The Challenge
 

Walk 26 miles along part of the Two Moors Way across Dartmoor and then down the Teign valley to Sheldon.

  • Fabulous countryside,
  • Great company
  • All in an excellent cause!

The terrain includes open moorland, footpaths, bridlepaths and country lanes. The main challenge is in the distance. Estimated time 12 - 14 hours.
We are looking for 26 people to join the Sheldon Dartmoor Marathon Challenge.

Costs and details - Saturday 29th May 2010
NOTE: These costs have been updated 26/1/10. If you're keen to take part and are willing to aim for an agreed level of sponsorship then we also have some free places available - make us an offer!
£40 Registration for the 26 mile version: Starts 7pm Friday and includes Friday supper and orientation, Saturday breakfast, packed lunch and supper. Transport to the starting point.
£20 Registration for the 13 mile version: Starts 10am Saturday and includes packed lunch and supper and transport to the starting point.
£15 Option extra for 13 mile version: Friday supper and Saturday breakfast.
£30 Optional extra for all walkers: £30 per night for Friday and Saturday accommodation at Sheldon.
£50 Optional extra for non-participating partners over the weekend and for everyone from Sunday night onwards. £50 per night including food.
