The Pig Pens were opened at Easter 2006 and replace the Chalets. They are available for hire by groups (usually in conjunction with the Pound House and/or the Long Barn); are open to everyone for private retreats; and provide additional bedrooms for our own programme events. Each Pig Pen has twin beds (foldaway to single or together for double), a sitting and eating area, a good kitchen with electric hob and microwave, and an en-suite shower room. Berkshire and Gloucester Pens have a sleeping deck with two beds approached by a loft ladder that is folded away when not required. Tamworth Pen has a larger drive-in shower room suitable for wheelchair users. The Pens are linked to the rest of the site by a wheelchair-friendly path. Each Pen has a large picture window with lovely views across the valley, and its own little sheltered patio and outdoor seat. Small but perfectly formed!
