| The Sheldon Open Air Theatre is a suprise feature nestling in a steep hollow. The Sheldon Copse forms a natural wooded backdrop, and grassed terraces have been cut out of the hillside to hold an audience of up to 500 people. Public concerts are held in the summer, resident groups often use the theatre for worship or drama, and it is a lovely place for guests to wander round at any time of year. |
