Has the time come for 'a New Monasticism'?
This Friday Fringe event with Ian Adams explores the roots, marks and possibilities of what has been called 'a new monasticism'.

| Ian Adams is a writer, poet and artist working with themes of spirituality, culture and community. He is co-director of the Stillpoint project, and was founder and abbot of an experimental Anglican community in Oxford. He is the creator of the daily call to stillness and prayer 'morning bell', and is the author of 'Cave Refectory Road: monastic rhythms for contemporary living' [Canterbury Press 2010]. Ian has a particular interest in enabling people to engage with the wisdom and practice of the various monastic traditions. |
