| The seven-piece band closely follows the Dire Straits line-up with Vocals, Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Bass, Percussion, Keyboards, Saxophones and Flute. The musicians are all strong and gifted players who perform extensively in a variety of professional situations. |

The band performs regularly throughout the UK, faithfully reproducing all the classic Dire Straits hits, including Romeo and Juliet, Brothers in Arms, Walk of Life, and Sultans of Swing. The unmistakable magic of Dire Straits is recreated completely live in concert. |
| The music of Dire Straits has enjoyed a revival in recent years. Mark Knopfler's effortlessly understated vocal style, skillful guitar performances and well-crafted songs have never lost their charm. The band's original 1978 style broadened with the addition of a keyboard player, and the new direction led to longer and more atmospheric songs such as Private Investigations and Tunnel of Love. The Brothers in Arms album sold an incredible 15 million copies, with an estimated one tenth of all British households owning one. Latterly, Mark Knopfler has opted to concentrate on other projects and collaborations, kindly leaving the stage clear for the next best thing dIRE tRAITS! |
