| The Sheldon library is a cosy book-lovers paradise, with over 1,500 modern titles covering spirituality, pesrsonal development, light reading and reference. |
The library is open to guests attending our own programme events, or staying on private retreat in a Linhay Lodge or a Pig Pen. Guests are asked to keep silence in the library at all times. |
| The library can be booked for the day for quiet, study or preparation time away from the phone and the doorbell. Guests making a day booking have exclusive use of the library during the day. |
| Facilities in the library include: |
- Very comfy chair
- Writing desk
- Kettle and sink for making hot drinks etc
- Adjacent cloakroom

| Guests booking the library for a day also have access to the Sheldon grounds and the Chapel of Christ the Servant. |
| Please note that the library is NOT a lending library - books may be borrowed only for the duration of your stay at Sheldon. |
Cost 2010/11: £12 for the day, £8 for lunch (or bring your own).
