£1.1m upgrade of guest accommodation
The old Long Barn was demolished in December 2010 and the new Long Barn is now complete.
The tiny cell bedrooms with shared washrooms have been replaced with beautiful en-suite rooms.
Disabled access has been much improved. A second meeting room has been added along with ancillary kitchen, servery and toilets.
Ten old bedrooms have beenreplaced with nine new ones. Total bed numbers have been increased from 14 to 17. Single people are never asked to share.
Oct 2011: The construction work is complete and guests are being welcomed into the lovely new facilities.
