Interest Free Loans
The building of the Long Barn has been a major investment in the future of the Sheldon ministry.
Thanks to loans from Friends we have been able to complete the building work while the appeal continues. The next step is to repay the loan to the Diocese through a combination of new gifts and, if necessary, fresh loans from Friends.
We would be very grateful for loans of any amount, but ideally over £5,000 for 5 years or more.
Loans are unsecured and no interest is paid. The informal security for lenders is the value of the Sheldon property which amounts to £2m. Against this there is a secured loan of £50,000 with the Diocese of Exeter.
