Hospitality Volunteers

Hospitality volunteers live and work at Sheldon for a week at a time.

They help with practical tasks of caring for people at a practical level - everything from washing up, preparing food, making tea and cleaning.

Volunteers also play a very important role in making guests welcome in a way that is warm and friendly, but unobtrusive and respects people's space and privacy.

If you are interested in hospitality volunteering, please contact us with information about yourself (including age, relevant work and life experience, church affiliation) and give us the name of two referees who we can contact. Your application will need to be in writing, but you may discuss by telephone in the first instance if you prefer.

We normally organise the allocations of volunteers one term at a time throughout the year, but there are sometimes opportunities at shorter notice too.
